3rd, 4th, and 5th students from Bethel Elementary had the opportunity to participate in the Daughters of American Junior American Citizens Stamp Contest. The 2023-2024 theme was Sparkling In The Stars with the 50th Anniversary of the NASA Space Shuttle Program. Students competed against children from all of the United States and Bethel is pleased to announce that they had students place on the local, state, regional and national level.

Aubree McFarland won 1st Place for Williamsburg Chapter, 1st Place for the State of Virginia, 1st Place for the Eastern Divison (Region), and also received a National Daughters of the American Revolution Third Grade Stamp Design Honorable Mention.
