Bethel Elementary had their first Virginia Studies History Bee. 20 students were selected to participate based on their strengths in their Virginia Studies knowledge. During the History Bee students answered questions from 10 Virginia Studies Units including Geography to the American Revolution and everything in between. Students had to tap in their Virginia Studies knowledge to answer some challenging questions. If students answered questions incorrectly they were asked to sit down. The rounds continued until the last student was left standing. All students that participated in the Virginia Studies History Bee received a certificate and medal. They all did such an amazing job and we are so proud of all their accomplishments in Virginia Studies.
